To explore the effects of low salinity on ovarian development in Litopenaeus vannamei, this study reared female shrimp under suitable salinity and low-salinity conditions and induced maturation following standard procedures. Samples of hepatopancreas, eyestalk, gill, and ovarian tissues were collected five days after maturation induction for RNA sequencing.
