The invention relates to a method for producing a reinforcing section in a， preferably board-type， workpiece， which workpiece has a core layer， a first cover layer and a second cover layer. In particular， a workpiece of this type is a lightweight construction board. In addition， a paste-like curable mass is introduced into an opening with the nozzle， while the nozzle and/or the workpiece at least periodically moves during the discharging of the mass.
