Integrated microbiome, transcriptome and metabolome insight into the alleviating sheep colitis mechanisms of Coriolus versicolor polysaccharide

Diarrhea is widely believed to be associated with an imbalance in the gut flora and has significant implications for both the livestock industry and human health. However, it has been challenging to identify which specific gut microbes and their metabolites play a key role in anti-diarrheal processes. Until now, this has been a scientific question and further research is needed to elucidate the exact mechanism. Here, multi-omics analyses were performed to identify the microbiome and metabolites that regulate diarrhea. Here, multi-omics analyses were performed to determine the effects of Coriolus versicolor polysaccharide (CVP) on the microbiome and metabolites of diarrheal sheep.
