资源简介:
The element mapping capability at the Australian Synchrotron has the potential to provide the building blocks of a fundamentally different view of the controls on metal transport and deposition within the Earth. The metallogenic make-up of large areas of the Earth’s crust reflects the interplay of deep-Earth anhydrous fluids with hydrous outer layers of the Earth. The research will map at the micro-scale suites of elements that characterise the pathways and interactions of deep-Earth fluids in the crust. The outcomes will enhance understanding mineral systems to scales of 106 metres and underpin the search for tomorrow’s mineral wealth.\nLineage: Data was produced using the Maia 384 element detector array on the XFM X-ray microprobe beamline of the Australian Synchrotron and processed using the GeoPIXE software package.\n
