The boundary layer in Stokes' second problem is used to esimate dynamic permeability at the Imperial College site. The results showed that (1) S wave in the borehole site is largely controlled by siltstone with porosity of 0.6; (2) Theoretical estimation is consistent with measured permeability of S wave at the sonic band.
