Construction and validation of a scoring system for perineural invasion-mediated inflammation in gastric cancer

To validate the performance of scoring system for perineural invasion-mediated inflammation in gastric cancer,we sequenced the tumor tissues and adjacent normal tissues from patients with gastric cancer. We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of 2 subgroups,including perineural invasion and non perineural invasion. Based on gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data,we calculated the ICI score of each patients and comepared their scores between perineural invasion and non perineural invasion subgroups.
