The story begins with the mysterious diffusion of a motif by the Italian singer Cesare Cremonini. The young woman who listens to him is a graduate in Philosophy, who unexpectedly discovers in the lyrics of the song the keywords to reread Vanini: travel and courage. Retracing the stages of the Vaninian itinerary, she has discovered that Cesare Cremonini is also the name of a contemporary philosopher who lived at the time of Vanini. Ultimately, his wandering in the main centers of Europe represented the search for himself, for Nature, for Truth up to the extreme step of the mortal challenge to the political authority, a sort of "philosophical suicide".
