The aim of the study was to detect the microbial diversity and community structure from natural Ophiocordyceps sinensis and its microhabitats, analyze the relationship of microorganism community composition and structure in various specimens which would be with regard to the medicinal components, the pharmacological effects, fungi parasitizing the larva and etc.. This study is benefit for the further discovery of new medicinal microorganism resources and explanation of molecular/cellular mechanisms of endogenetic microorganisms and its host insects interaction.
