EU reference laboratory for Campylobacter - Proficiency test 33 - 2022

Proficiency test number 33 “WGS and cluster analysis of Campylobacter” was distributed from the EURL on March 2022. The PT included WGS and cluster analysis of seven strains of Campylobacter. The objective of PT 33 was to assess quality of WGS data and accuracy of cluster analysis of Campylobacter from participating laboratories with the purpose to help laboratories in the implementation of WGS and cluster analysis and to test the joint capability of the network to solve a multi-country Campylobacter outbreak based on WGS data.
