Consensus sequences generated by CONCOMPRA, NGSpeciesID, and amplicon_sorter from (1) a synthetic bacterial community composed of 20 equally abundant bacteria (16S MOCK; https://www.atcc.org/products/msa-1002) or (2) the ZymoGut Microbiome Standard, a microbial community mimicking the human gut microbiome (Gut Microbiome Standard; https://files.zymoresearch.com/datasheets/ds1712_zymobiomics_gut_microbiome_standard_data_sheet.pdf). The first was sequenced twice, on both a R9 and and R10 flow cell (indicated by the folder structure). For CONCOMPRA, all the consensus sequences ('CONCOMPRA.all_consensus') are given as well as the non chimeric sequences only ('CONCOMPRA.noglobal_nolocalchim.consensus.sequences'). The full-length of the 16S rRNA gene was amplified with the primer set 27F and 1492R.Sequencing details as well as the data processing steps are described in: Stock, Willem, et al.
