Monitoring of the terrestrial food web dynamics on Akimiski Island, Nunavut

Following ArcticWOLVES protocol, 1-cm3 tissue samples are dissected from freshly dead animals found opportunistically. One large wing feather, or numerous smaller body feathers are taken from avian prey species, and 1 ml of egg (yolk and albumin mixed) are collected from abandoned nests. From mammalian species, a 2 cm2 section of fur is collected. ** If data are downloaded and used for analyses, it would greatly be appreciated that the principal investigator be informed.
