A catalogue of putative unique transcripts from Douglas-fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii) based on 454 transcriptome sequencing of genetically diverse, drought stressed seedlings

The data set consists of twelve normalized cDNA libraries of Douglas-firs (Pseudotsuga menziesii). Six of the libraries were made from coastal and six were made from interior Douglas-fir seedlings. For each library 1.5 year old seedlings were used. Each set of coastal and interior libraries includes three libraries from needle and three libraries from stem section. Each library contained cDNA extracted from well watered (control), mildly water stressed, or severely water stressed seedlings.
