VIS-NIR HSI dataset of Montelupo Fiorentino maiolica (14th-18th century CE)

The dataset includes hyperspectral imaging (HSI) spectra of white and coloured glazes from fifty tin-glazed ceramic ('maiolica') sherds produced in Montelupo Fiorentino (Florence, Italy) between the 14th and 18th centuries and belonging to the Museo della Ceramica di Montelupo Fiorentino. The spectra were acquired within the visible-near infrared (VIS-NIR) range (700–1000 nm) using two devices: an ultraportable VIS-NIR push-broom hyperspectral camera (namely SPECIM IQ) and a VIS-NIR hyperspectral camera equipped with an HS-XX-V10E CCD detector (namely SPECIM HS).
