Exploring personal preparedness and self-protective measures against COVID-19 pandemic: A qualitative study of frontline health care workers in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh

The three sets of data – interviews, transcriptions in Bangla and translations - contain data on health workers' perspectives on their personal preparedness and the range of self-protective measures available to them as they worked in Cox’s Bazar among the Rohingya population during the COVID pandemic.The data contains qualitative interviews conducted by Farzana Khan.The majority of the health workers are nurses.The data provided an evidence base to inform governments and local health sector providers of the type of personal protection necessary and of how health workers managed and contained threats of COVID in terms of a social, physical, emotional and psychological response.
