Horsham Regional Community Green Army Project

The project will undertake the following activities on priority sites around Horsham, including waterways, roadsides, and previous community sites:
´ pest plant & animal eradication, control and management
´ removal of rubbish and waste;
´ streamside stabilisation and erosion control;
´ removal of unwanted vegetation in rivers and streams;
´ rehabilitation of degraded areas;
´ additional activities to strengthen outcomes from previous government environmental investment;
´ promoting and encouraging community participation through the construction of signs and other facilities; and
´ protection of habitat for threatened species.

The project will deliver as many of these activities at each site as necessary, for maximum benefit.
