"以土肉桂(Cinnamomum osmophloeum Kaneh)、陰香(C. burmanni Blume)、澳洲茶樹(Melaleuca alternifolia Cheel)及台灣扁柏(Chamaecyparis obtusa var. formosana (Hayata) Rehder)精油,進行褐根病菌在28℃、不照光4日的生長抑制試驗。結果顯示在1000 ppm的濃度下,對樹木褐根病菌菌落的生長抑制率分別為100 %、100 %、80 %及50 %;其中土肉桂、陰香的菌落生長抑制效果與1000 ppm撲克拉(Prochloraz)相當。土肉桂精油濃度在500 ppm、250 ppm、50 ppm及25 ppm於28℃、不照光4日,對褐根病菌之菌落生長抑制率的分別為100 %、87 %、27 %及0 %;陰香精油濃度在500 ppm、250 ppm、50 ppm及25 ppm於28℃、不照光,4日對褐根病菌之菌落的生長抑制率分別為68 %、55 %、16 %及0 %。土肉桂精油以濃度1000 ppm培養4日可殺死褐根病菌;陰香精油在相同濃度下,卻僅是讓菌落停止生長,顯示兩者可能有不同的作用機制。Mycelial blocks of Phellinus noxius (Corner) Cunningham were grown on PDA amended with 1000 ppm essential oils from Cinnamomum osmophloeum (Indigenous Cinnamon Tree)、C. burmanni (Batavia Cinnamon)、Melaleuca alternifolia (Tea Tree) and Chamaecyparis obtusa var. formosana (Hayata) Rehder (Hinoki cypress) for 4 days kept in dark at 28℃. Inhibition rate of mycelial growth of the essential oils from Indigenous Cinnamon Tree, Batavia Cinnamon, Tea Tree, and Hinoki cypress is 100 %、100 %、80 % and 50 %, respectively. Test results showed 1000 ppm essential oils from Indigenous Cinnamon Tree and Batavia Cinnamon have the same effectiveness as 1000 ppm Prochloraz. 500 ppm、250 ppm、50 ppm and 25 ppm Indigenous Cinnamon Tree essential oils has 100 %、87 %、27 % and 0 % inhibition rate of mycelial growth, respectively. 500 ppm、250 ppm、50 ppm and 25 ppm Batavia Cinnamon essential oils has 68 %、55 %、16 % and 0 % inhibition rate of mycelial growth, respectively. 1000 ppm Indigenous Cinnamon Tree essential oils could kill P. noxius, but Batavia Cinnamon essential oil could not. There may be a different mechanism on inhibition rate of mycelial growth between 1000 ppm Indigenous Cinnamon Tree and Batavia Cinnamon essential oils.
