COVID-19 Outbreak: A Data Sheet on Panic Buying among Malaysians during Movement Control Order (MCO)

Since the number of infections of COVID-19 in Malaysia dramatically increase, the government then decided to announce Movement Control Order (MCO) to all Malaysians for two weeks. As a consequence to this announcement, most Malaysians experienced panic buying situation. This descriptive data on panic buying situation among consumers during the first stage of MCO A survey was conducted throughout the country including Sabah and Sarawak using an open-ended questionnaire that was distributed online.

鉴于马来西亚COVID-19感染病例急剧上升，政府随即宣布实施针对全体马来西亚人的两星期移动管制令（MCO）。此一公告之结果，大多数马来西亚民众经历了恐慌性购物的现象。本描述性数据集记录了在MCO第一阶段，消费者恐慌性购买行为的情况。该调查覆盖全国范围，包括沙巴和砂拉越地区，通过在线分发开放式问卷进行。
