Electroacupuncture (EA) has long been used to treat surgery-induced hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis dysfunction. However, its target gene expression profiles in the brain remain unclear. Thus, the aim of the present study was to clarify the potential targets of EA based on RNA sequencing techniques (RNA-seq). Rats were randomly divided into normal control, hepatectomy surgery (HT), HT+EA, and HT+sham EA groups followed by RNA-seq of two representative nuclei in the hypothalamus and amygdala.
电针(Electroacupuncture,EA)长期以来被用于治疗手术诱导的下丘脑-垂体-肾上腺(hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal,HPA)轴功能紊乱,但其在脑组织中的靶基因表达谱仍尚不明确。因此,本研究旨在基于RNA测序技术(RNA-seq)阐明电针的潜在作用靶点。实验将大鼠随机分为正常对照组、肝切除术(hepatectomy surgery,HT)组、HT+EA组以及HT+假电针组,随后对下丘脑中的两个代表性核团与杏仁核进行RNA-seq分析。
