Metadata associated with ITS DNA barcode sequences of Sardinian macrofungi used in antioxidant and antimicrobial activity studies

The dataset includes metadata for sequences submitted to GenBank by different members of the research team as part of the same research project. The nucleotide sequences are publicly available in GenBank and can be accessed using the accession numbers provided in the GenBank_accession column. The purpose of this dataset is to provide a curated reference linking voucher specimens, taxonomic identifications, collection metadata, and the corresponding GenBank accession numbers associated with this study.
