This statistic shows the percentage of survey respondents that had select opinions on U.S. national marijuana policy as of January 2018, by political party affiliation. According to the survey results, among those that identified as Republican, 25 percent wanted to keep the current marijuana policy. Comparatively, just 7 percent of Democrat-affiliated respondents wanted to keep the current policy.
