The project applied the World Management Survey (WMS) and Management and Organizational Practice Survey (MOPS) methodology to investigate more than 600 nationally representative hospitals in China from 2014 to 2021. Consequently, we created a Chinese hospital management database to comprehensively and systematically analyze the positioning of the Chinese hospital management level in the world management coordinate system, the driving factors affecting the management level, and their relative importance.
