Large wood piece inventory in the Vésubie River catchment during Storm Alex (Oct. 2020)

This archive gathers a shapefile of polylines delineating every large wood pieces deposited in the river reaches of the Vésubie catchment after Storm Alex. It was digitized on the post-event 10-cm resolution orthophotos taken a few days after the event. A QGIS document is also provided with the WMS orthophotos before and after the event. The EPSG (reference system) is 2154 (RGF93 v1 / Lambert-93). To each polyline is attached the following metadata: ID: identification number of each tributary (1-43) and main branches (44-47) ordered by increasing drainage area; Channel: name of the channel where logs are deposited; Length: log length measured from the polylines; real_Lengt: log length measured in the field (available only for a few logs); real_Cmax: log max circumference measured in the field measured at the log base (available only for a few logs); real_Cmid: log intermediate circumference measured in the field at the log middle section (available only for a few logs); real_Cmin: log min circumference measured in the field at the log tip (available only for a few logs).
