The mixed-reality intelligent surgical training system, via the Hololens 2 device, combines virtual 3D models with the real environment to deliver detailed and realistic surgical scenarios and immersive interactive experiences, significantly improving the training efficacy and surgical skills of medical personnel. This system is based on data 3D reconstruction and mixed reality (MR) technologies, enabling users to interact naturally between the real and virtual worlds, and to manipulate models with high precision through various operations such as dragging and rotating. The construction workflow includes: engineers upload anonymized 2D DICOM data to the automatic reconstruction service to generate 3D models in .STL format, import both the generated models and DICOM images into AI-assisted medical image annotation software for manual reconstruction, and refine the geometric anatomical structures using AI technologies. The reconstructed models are rendered and enabled for interactive operations via the MR technology and optimized algorithms of the Hololens 2 device.
