This book presents a detailed analysis and summary of forest communities and their dynamics in the Changbai Mountain region of Jilin Province, China. A total of 23 community (association) types in the forest areas of Changbai Mountain, Jilin Province, were identified. Quantitative divisions were made for community succession stages and their affiliated successional sequences. Detailed analyses and summaries were carried out for the composition, dominant species, productivity status, plant species diversity, vertical structure, and regeneration characteristics of each community. This work provides an important reference for forest management and administration in the Changbai Mountain forest region. The dataset contains 260 pages and 380,000 Chinese characters.
