资源简介:
By understanding the patterns and routines in artists’ behaviours as unique features of creative knowledge making, The Habits of Artists seeks to deepen our insight into art learning. Employing a unique platform through which the audience is engaged in public learning as performance, the research asks whether we can find fitting frameworks for communicating the complexities of art practice, in which often subjective and bespoke logics drive creativity.
Addison and Kidd were commissioned to contribute to Uniqlo Tate Lates with their multi-platform, participatory work. Taking up residence for one evening in the South Tanks lobby, they welcomed 11,524 visitors to engage with the collected instructions to explore the preparations, patterns, and procrastinations that surround the production of art in the studio.
Inventory of Behaviours #4, Uniqlo Tate Lates, Tate Tanks, London, 27 September 2019.
This item contains photographic documentation of the event.
Photographs used courtesy of Jo Addison and @Tate.
Used with permission.
