Metro bridge

Metroponte draws inspiration from the Technical Standards on Construction -N.T.C. entered into force in 2018 and from the specific section dedicated to “existing structures” (Chapter8) with the aim of tackling degradation structural and current documentary deficiency. It is an intervention that wants to overcome the emergency logic through a constant work monitoring and monitoring: it allows staff to reason from a planning perspective and to be able to, from time to time, produce objective and timely responses where there is a problem but also reassuring where the problem is not there. Take full advantage of all the technologies in our possession (e.g. fiber optic) and existing agreements with various bodies (e.g. agreement with the Italian Space Agency) It lays the foundations so that, in the future, even bridges that do not create problems today can be kept under control and, through monitoring of signs of possible degradation, can be programmed ad hoc interventions. It is a transparent system that will enable citizens and businesses to know and verify personally different situations and technicians in charge of taking the best possible action. It is the first strategic intervention for reorganisation, simplification and dematerialisation of the structural interventions of the CMM on infrastructure. In particular, it is oriented to give an organic vision of the bridges that affect the roads on which the Metropolitan City of Milan carries out road protection activities (Code) of the Road, Title II) Metroponte is implemented through a database that collects all the information related to the it’s an artifact. Contains all data and documents related to bridges and is also fed through electronic modelling tools for construction and infrastructure (so-called “Building Information Modeling”), which is being introduced.
