This study investigates the differential effects of normobaric hypoxia (NH) and hypobaric hypoxia (HH) on gut microbiota composition in a mouse model of acute high-altitude exposure. Full-length 16S rRNA gene sequencing was performed to evaluate microbial community differences between the two hypoxia models. Mice were subjected to either normobaric or hypobaric hypoxia at a simulated altitude of 5500 meters for 72 hours prior to fecal sample collection.
