Data for Warm-Sector Heavy Rainfall over the Eastern China Plains: Identification, Characteristics, and Precursor Dynamic Signals

This dataset supports the study “Warm-Sector Heavy Rainfall over the Eastern China Plains: Identification, Characteristics, and Precursor Dynamic Signals.” It contains processed data derived from rain-gauge observations, wind profiler radar measurements, and ERA5 reanalysis. Rain-gauge data were used to identify warm-sector heavy rainfall events and describe their precipitation characteristics. Wind profiler radar data provide vertical wind profiles before and during rainfall events. ERA5 fields were processed to calculate relevant dynamic, thermodynamic, and moisture-related variables. The dataset supports analyses of rainfall characteristics, environmental conditions, and precursor dynamic signals, and is intended to facilitate reproducibility of the associated study.
