ToF-SIMS Negative-Ion Profiling of Hepatic Lipids and Amino Acids in Lean, Diabetic and Metformin-Treated Zucker Diabetic Fatty Rats

This dataset contains raw and processed Time-of-Flight Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (ToF-SIMS) data acquired from liver tissue sections of lean (LEAN), diabetic (P1), and metformin-treated (P2) Zucker diabetic fatty rats. Data were generated to characterise diabetes-induced metabolic alterations in hepatic lipid and amino-acid profiles and to assess the normalising effects of metformin.

The dataset includes raw ToF-SIMS spectral files in negative-ion mode, averaged group spectra, peak-intensity tables normalised to total ion counts (TIC), results of the one-way ANOVA with FDR correction, volcano-plot source files, hierarchical clustering matrices.
