Data for Quantifying Cabbeling and Thermobaricity in North Pacific Intermediate Water

This repository contains the processed data used in the study “Roles of Cabbeling in the Formation of North Pacific Intermediate Water.” The study uses quality-controlled Argo temperature and salinity profiles collected from January 2000 to May 2024 within 35°–65°N and 140°E–120°W. The archived files include processed hydrographic fields on neutral density surfaces used to produce the figures in the manuscript. The original Argo observations are publicly available from the Argo Global Data Assembly Centres. Users should consult the README file for variable definitions, units, file structure, software requirements, and code execution order.
