VPRS 18896 House Committee, Minutes

This series comprises the minutes of the House Committee of the Mount Royal Hospital (VA 1280) The House Committee was responsible for visiting and investigating standards and general conditions at the hospital. The records include minutes regarding operational matters of the hospital, minutes of other committees reporting to the House Committee and reports made to the House Committee. The matters under consideration by the House Committee included maintenance and repairs, equipment, rules for staff, domestic services such as cleaning and laundry, catering, and staff establishment. There are no known extant minutes from 1933 – 1944 and 1945 – 1948.
