This dataset contains the original excel file, an R database, and an R script for cross-tabulating data for the paper: "The Challenge of Maintaining Membership in a Japanese Grassroots Political Movement: The Kagoshima Anti-nuclear Movement and the 2015 Sendai Nuclear Reactor Restart." This small-n, non-representative sample gives academic a glimpse of Japanese anti-nuclear activist movements in the regions hosting nuclear power plants between 2015 and 2017.
