Nephron epithelial cells arise through a mesenchymal-to-epithelial transition (MET) during kidney development. We used scRNA-seq and multi-ome profiling to investigate transcriptional mechanisms driving MET in human renal organoids. Renal organoids were generated from human iPSCs and collected at days 10, 12 and 14 of the protocol, which covers the period of MET, and analysed by multi-ome profiling. Organoids were harvested at day 24, when they are considered mature, and analysed by scRNA-seq.
