资源简介:
Since 1977 The Danish Institute of Border Region Studies has carried out several surveys about the cross-frontier shopping between Denmark and Germany. The latest survey from 1996 showed that the conditions have not changed since the previous survey in 1991 and is seems like the cross-frontier shopping has found a steady bearing since the introduction of The Single Market. Meanwhile, since the autumm 1998, there have been some presumption that the Danes again have started to shop more south of the border. The reasons why could be attractive petrol prices and the opening of the Great Belt's Bridge which could have caused more Zealanders to shop south of the border. To identify how the cross-frontier shopping has developed the Danish Institute of Border Studies was asked to carry out another survey about the shopping. This survey was carried out in May 1999, where 1114 persons in Danish cars, crossing the border to Denmark, were asked questions about their shopping in Germany.
