This dataset was systematically developed by the Department of Dermatology of Hangzhou Third People's Hospital via long-term clinical practice and specialized diagnosis and treatment, focusing on vitiligo—a common and complex pigmentary skin disorder. The newly released dataset is centered on vitiligo dermoscopic images and clinical evaluation criteria, covering core dimensions including lesion distribution patterns, grading of pigment loss severity, perifollicular pigment retention status, lesion boundary characteristics, and disease activity assessment, thereby establishing a vitiligo-specific data framework that adheres to international dermoscopy standards. This resource can provide medical institutions with standardized guidelines for vitiligo dermoscopic data collection, support clinical and basic research analyses such as investigations into the natural course of the disease and treatment efficacy evaluation, facilitate the training and algorithm validation of dermatological AI diagnostic models, advance drug development and accurate subject recruitment for clinical trials, and offer visual and quantitative auxiliary decision-making support for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
