Submarine groundwater discharge (SGD) is an important path of dissolved terristrial nutrients input into the coastal water. Quantifying the flux of SGD is the key procedure to estimate the flux of nutrients input via SGD. A distributed coupled surface water-groundwater flow model was built in the Pearl River Delta by HEIFLOW, which can simulate the flux of SGD along the coast of Pearl River Delta based on the phyical process. Using the meteorological data of 2000-2013 as the driving force, the multi-year averaged daily flux of SGD was simulated and demonstrated in a geospatial file.
