Genome sequence efforts of bacteria isolated from the Carpenter Snow Creek Mining District Superfund site in Montana, a heavy metal contaminated site. These bacteria were isolated using a dual metal-resistance / chrome azurol S agar plate screen, such that metal-tolerant siderophore-producing colonies could be identified, isolated, and sequenced.
