资源简介:
The purpose of this study is to determine the prevalence of isolates resistant to fosfomycin and carbapenems, as well as to detect the probable resistance mechanism by means of LAMP and to characterize the lineage and mechanism of resistance and virulence by means of analysis of the bacterial genome. To this end, it involves the development of a prospective observational study to collect data from urine culture exams of the research participants, as well as to isolate and store the resistant bacteria for molecular analysis by sequencing techniques, in order to characterize the resistance mechanisms and lineage of the isolates of community origin. Primary care participants with resistant isolates will be asked, and only with prior consent, to complete a simple questionnaire where some data will be collected related to previous infections, pre-existing diseases, previous use of antimicrobials, hospitalization or previous performance of some hospital care or procedure. Thus, the present study aims to contribute to the characterization of the main uropathogens in the community, making it possible to highlight the origin of the resistant isolates in this population. Furthermore, this work will make it possible to detect, quickly and at a reduced cost in primary care, bacteria resistant to carbapenems and fosfomycin through the use of a simple and easy-to-perform technique such as the LAMP technique.
