NRS-12800 | Stage machinery: assembly drawings for Major Hall, Minor Hall and Experimental Theatre [Sydney Opera House]

This series comprises two volumes containing the original drawings issued by contractor Waagner-Biro Akitiengesellschaft for the building of stage machinery at the Sydney Opera House.The drawings relate to stage machinery for the Major Hall (known today as the Concert Hall), the Minor Hall (known today as the Opera Theatre) and the Experimental Theatre of the Sydney Opera House. The scale of the drawings is 1/16" = 1'- 0" and 1/32" = 1'- 0"Waagner-Biro Akitiengesellschaft is a firm from Vienna, Austria. The first volume consists of drawings issued in January 1965 while the second volume features drawings issued in December, 1972.
