APhotoEveryDay (APE) dataset was created by the University of Cagliari, and is specifically designed to capture facial changes of users over extended time periods. This dataset contains 46 individuals, with the number of facial images per individual ranging from 92 to 3892, and the image acquisition time spans varying from less than one year to twelve years. The data is sourced from the YouTube Daily Photo Project, and is primarily used to research the performance of facial recognition systems over long time spans.
