补药产品在不同年龄层的需求弹性分析数据

我单位经营的补药产品多年以来在市场广受欢迎，为更好了解不同年龄层的顾客对补药产品的市场需求情况，我单位对相关补药的需求弹性数据进行采集计算。采集相关补药产品在某一时间段的需求数据和价格数据，用中国人民大学出版社出版的《西方经济学 第三版（微观部分）》第六节“需求弹性和供给弹性”涉及需求弹性的相关经济学知识对该计算数据进行分析，得到该补药的需求价格弹性。该项数据对我单位的市场营销决策有重要意义。1.数据采集：采集相关补药产品在某一时间段的需求数据和价格数据，按照顾客的年龄层进行整理归纳，得到该补药在不同年龄层的需求量变动数值和价格变化数值。
2.算法规则：对采集得到的数据按照如下公式进行计算：需求弹性系数Ed=-(△Q/Q)÷(△P/P），得到需求弹性系数。式中：Q表示产品的需求量，单位为份；P表示产品的价格，单位为元；△Q表示需求量同比变动值，单位为份；△P表示价格同比变动的数值，单位为元。取需求弹性系数的绝对值|Ed|作为分析数据时的参考系数。
3.数据分析：根据|Ed|的数值可分析该补药的需求价格弹性。（1）|Ed|=1（单位需求价格弹性），说明需求量变动幅度与价格变动幅度相同；（2）1<|Ed|<∝（需求富有弹性），说明需求量变动幅度大于价格变动幅度；（3）0<|Ed|<1（需求缺乏弹性），说明需求量变动幅度小于价格变动幅度；（4）|Ed|→0（需求完全无弹性），这表示不管价格怎样变动，需求量总是固定不变；（5）|Ed|→∝（需求完全有弹性），表示在既定价格之下，需求量可以任意变动。

Our enterprise’s tonic products have enjoyed widespread market popularity for many years. To better understand the market demand for tonic products among customers of various age groups, we collected and calculated demand elasticity data for relevant tonic products. We gathered demand and price data for these tonic products over a given time period, then analyzed the collected data using the economic theories related to demand elasticity presented in Section 6 "Demand Elasticity and Supply Elasticity" of *Western Economics, 3rd Edition (Microeconomics Part)*, published by China Renmin University Press, to obtain the price elasticity of demand for these tonic products. This dataset is of critical importance to our enterprise’s marketing strategy decision-making.

1. Data Collection
Collect demand and price data for relevant tonic products over a certain time period, then organize and categorize the data based on customer age cohorts, to derive the changes in demand quantity and price of the tonic products across different age groups.

2. Algorithm Rules
Calculate the collected data using the following formula to obtain the demand elasticity coefficient:
$$E_d = -frac{Delta Q / Q}{Delta P / P}$$
Where:
- $Q$ represents the quantity demanded of the product, with the unit of "unit";
- $P$ represents the price of the product, with the unit of yuan;
- $Delta Q$ represents the year-on-year change in quantity demanded, with the unit of "unit";
- $Delta P$ represents the year-on-year change in price, with the unit of yuan.
Take the absolute value $|E_d|$ of the demand elasticity coefficient as the reference coefficient for data analysis.

3. Data Analysis
The price elasticity of demand for the tonic products can be analyzed based on the value of $|E_d|$:
(1) $|E_d| = 1$ (Unitary Price Elasticity of Demand): Indicates that the magnitude of change in quantity demanded is identical to that of price change;
(2) $1 < |E_d| < infty$ (Price Elastic Demand): Indicates that the magnitude of change in quantity demanded is greater than that of price change;
(3) $0 < |E_d| < 1$ (Price Inelastic Demand): Indicates that the magnitude of change in quantity demanded is smaller than that of price change;
(4) $|E_d| o 0$ (Perfectly Inelastic Demand): Means that regardless of price fluctuations, the quantity demanded remains consistently fixed;
(5) $|E_d| o infty$ (Perfectly Elastic Demand): Means that the quantity demanded can vary arbitrarily at a given fixed price.
