Current meter data (velocity and temperature) from the California Monitoring Program; WNW from Point Conception

This dataset consists of current meter velocity and temperature
readings from various depths, taken as part of the California
Monitoring Program (CAMP), conducted by SAIC with funding from the
Minerals Management Service (MMS). The area of study was near oil
platform Hidalgo which is located WNW from Point Conception. The
current meter data spans from April 1992 to January 1993.

The Data Zoo
------------
The Center for Coastal Studies (CCS) of the Scripps Institution of
Oceanography, University of California, San Diego, has developed an
on-line database of physical oceanographic data organized by
experiment, and referred to as the 'Data Zoo.' The animals in this
'zoo' are the individual data sets, one of which is described
above. The zoo is funded by the Mineral Management Service, Bureau of
Land Management, Department of the Interior.
