These non-emergency requests account for a majority of all locate requests and are indicated by the the Normal ticket priority. Short - Indicates an emergency in nature with more than four traditional working hours, but less than 2 working days advance notice. Rush - Indicates an emergency in nature with less than four traditional working hours prior to the start of the excavation. Emergency - Indicates an excavation that requires a response within two hours.
