PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for disintegration of used paper packages without depending on manpower and by using a disintegration device and for effective utilization of resources by recovery of used raw papers from shredded products. SOLUTION: A used paper package is disintegrated by using a disintegration device 10 to obtain a disintegrated product， the disintegrated product having been disintegrated is subjected to discrimination treatment， a used raw paper having been subjected to the discrimination treatment is supplied to a used paper pulp production process to produce a used paper pulp. The disintegrated product is subjected to color measuring by using a color measuring camera to determine whether a whiteness of a colorimetry value having been through the color measuring is high or low， matters having the whiteness being low are discriminated for acquisition， this acquisition raw material is supplied to a used paper pulp production process to produce a used paper pulp.
