BONAI (Buildings in non-ground-level aerial images) is a dataset dedicated to building footprint extraction (BFE). It contains 268,958 building instances across 3,300 aerial images, where each building has fully annotated instance-level roof outlines, footprints, and corresponding offset vectors. Compared with existing BFE datasets that only annotate building footprints, BONAI provides more comprehensive annotation content. The aerial images in BONAI are collected from six representative cities in China, namely Shanghai, Beijing, Harbin, Jinan, Chengdu, and Xi'an.
