Stage-specific transcriptomic in the European house dust mite Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus

A whole-genome transcriptomic analysis across developmental stages and adult sexes in D. pteronyssinus has been performed. By integrating RNAseq data analysis with a comprehensive review and annotation of functionally relevant gene categories, we generate information that expands our understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying mite development, sexual reproduction, and allergen expression.
