In this work, we explore time-resolved dynamics of non-equilibrium magnons in Rb2MnF4, a model two-dimensional square lattice Heisenberg antiferromagnet using a novel laser-neutron pump-probe technique. This technique uses a nanosecond pulsed laser to periodically excite magnons to out-of-equilibrium states and then probe the resulting dynamics using INS.
