Number of domestic and international overnight stays in hotels in Sweden 2018

There were over 39.5 million overnight stays at hotels in Sweden in 2018. Among these, around 29.6 million were made by domestic tourists, while roughly 9.9 million were made by international tourists. Business travelers accounted for the highest share of overnight stays that year, followed by leisure travelers.
