Entry and exit

Automated and/or manual counts in the trains determine the entry and exits at the respective stations and from it also the occupation in the trains or on the line/sections. The censuses are currently (still) sampled over the year and the entire line. The data listed here are averaged count values over the calendar year, which are differentiated according to the day types Monday-Friday (Mon-Fri), Saturday (Sat), Sunday/holiday (Sun) and Monday-Sunday (Mon-Fri) and refer to the individual sections of the route.

— ‘np_id’ — ID number of the stop/station (to be found in the dataset [train stations](/dataset/rail stations))
— ‘stop’ — Name of station/station
— ‘average_beginner_day’ — number of beginners per day at the stop/station
— ‘average_exit_day’ — number of exits per day at the stop/station
— ‘year’ — count year
— ‘days’ — day type
