canine-gut-microbiome-diets

This dataset accompanies the study "Quantifying differences in the canine gut microbiome between fresh and processed diets". It includes OTU tables, taxonomy annotations, participant metadata, and biometric information collected from 103 dogs enrolled in a home-based, cross-sectional study. The data were generated via 16S rRNA gene sequencing and processed using R scripts provided in the associated GitHub repository. These files enable reproducible analysis of microbiome composition, diversity, and predicted functional pathways stratified by diet type.
